We are seeking a versatile Freelance Producer / Post-Producer to support a busy team across on-set production and post-production workflows. This is a project-based opportunity expected to begin within one week and continue through at least the end of October, with potential to extend. Start: Within one week Duration: Through at least the end of October, with potential extension Hours: Approximately 10+ hours per week; flexible schedule, with potential for additional hours Location: Chicago preferred Rate: $55-60/hr. Equipment: Candidates with their own computer are preferred. The Opportunity Support on-set production, including pre-production planning, scheduling, vendor and crew coordination. Lead post-production coordination, including edit scheduling and communication with editors, colorists, and mixers. Track deliverables, milestones, budgets, purchase orders, and vendor invoices. Manage multiple concurrent projects and client-facing timelines in a fast-paced agency-of-record environment. Maintain clear communication and strong organizational oversight throughout project lifecycles. What We’re Looking For Proven producer and/or post-producer experience supporting high-profile work in a fast-paced environment. Strong working knowledge of production and post-production workflows. Experience with budget tracking, POs, vendor management, and invoicing. Exceptional project-management, scheduling, and communication skills. Ability to manage shifting priorities and multiple active workstreams independently.
