This role keeps the operational backbone of merchandising running — product testing and compliance, new product launch coordination, and the product data other teams depend on. It touches nearly every product we bring to market.

It takes someone highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong, proactive communication across Legal, Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, Production, and Merchandising.

What You'll Own

Testing & Compliance

\n
• Coordinate testing and certification programs across all brands — product safety, environmental, and legal compliance — partnering with Legal, Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, and Production.
\n
• Track renewal and testing deadlines so nothing lapses.
\n
• Keep documentation organized and audit-ready.
\n
• Stay current on regulations and flag changes early.
\n
• Serve as the point of contact for compliance audits and inquiries.
\n

3Z Labs — Internal Product Testing

\n
• Support 3Z Labs, our internal testing program — pressure mapping, firmness/ILD, edge support, motion transfer, and temperature.
\n
• Help build the 3Z Standard Testing Protocol with internal stakeholders — what gets tested, how, and how often.
\n
• Use lab data to help drive content creation, product decisions, and inform affiliate/review claims.
\n
• Maintain a testing calendar so results are ready when teams need them.
\n

New Product Introduction Coordination

\n
• Partner with VP of Merchandising on coordinating New Product Introduction (NPI) process, keeping partners aligned on timelines and deliverables from concept through launch.
\n
• Track NPI milestones and proactively flag risks to keep products on schedule.
\n
• Partner with Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Production to close out testing, compliance, and data ahead of launch.
\n

Product Attributes & Data

\n
• Support building and maintaining product attributes, keeping data accurate across systems for marketing, ecommerce, and reporting.
\n
• Partner with teams to keep attribute standards consistent as new products and categories are added.
\n

Cross-Functional Partnership & Communication

\n
• Connect Legal, Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, Production, and Merchandising on testing, compliance, and NPI work.
\n
• Share status, risks, and results proactively.
\n
• Partner with Legal on claims substantiation, backing marketing and packaging claims with valid test data.
\n
• Train/inform internal teams on the compliance requirements relevant to their work.
\n

Program Management & Other Duties

\n
• Support relationships with external testing labs and certification bodies, including scheduling and performance tracking.
\n
• Take on other duties and projects as assigned, supporting the broader merchandising operations function as needs evolve.
\n

• Certifications and compliance testing stay current across every brand and site — no lapses, no scrambles.

• 3Z Labs runs on a predictable cadence, reliably feeding content, product, and affiliate/review needs.

• New product launches move through testing, compliance, and attribute setup on schedule, with risks flagged early.
\n
• Testing and compliance documentation is complete, organized, and audit-ready at all times.
\n
• Cross-functional partners get clear, proactive updates on status and risk, not surprises.
\n

What We're Looking For

\n
• Highly organized and detail-oriented — nothing slips through the cracks.
\n
• Strong communicator, able to translate technical and regulatory requirements into clear guidance across teams.
\n
• Experience in merchandising operations, product compliance, quality assurance, or a related coordination role.
\n
• Working knowledge of product safety, environmental, and legal compliance requirements relevant to consumer products, or the ability to get fluent fast.
\n
• Experience supporting external testing labs, certification bodies, or compliance audits is a plus.
\n
• Comfortable in a hands-on lab environment, running and interpreting physical product tests.
\n
• Experience supporting or coordinating new product launches a plus.
\n
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
\n
