Hotel Security / Loss Prevention Officer – On Call | SAN035616 Description At Hyatt, we believe our guests select Hyatt because of our caring and attentive associates who are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences. The Loss Prevention Officer plays a vital role in preventing theft and keeping the hotel guests, customers, and colleagues safe. This is a fast-paced position with customer-facing interaction that requires organization and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work at minimum a couple of times a month, and on weekends and holidays. Qualifications A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment Refined verbal and written communication skills Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances Must be able to work at minimum a couple of times a month, and on weekends and holidays. Preferred candidates will be able to work at least one combination of shifts. Options are as follows: mornings and evenings evenings and overnights overnights and mornings Proficient in basic computer skills Preferred candidates will have 1 year of previous hotel security experience AED and CPR Certifications are a plus.
