Role Overview
As a Genetic Counseling Assistant, you will support the genetic counseling program by coordinating patient care workflows, managing documentation, and facilitating communication between patients, providers, and external partners.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a proactive problem solver, and a patient-focused individual with a strong interest in genetics, a commitment to continuous learning, and a desire to grow alongside a supportive and mission-driven team.

BayCare's Genetic Counseling team provides patients with personalized risk assessment, coordination of genetic testing, and interpretation of results to help identify inherited health conditions. Working alongside board-certified genetic counselors and clinical specialists, the Genetic Counseling Assistant plays an important role in supporting patients throughout their care journey and ensuring seamless coordination of services.
